In our quest for lore accuracy, visual quality and deeper gameplay, we overhauled every aspect of the original game to craft a new, immersive Lord of the Rings experience. NOTE: I haven't tested this mod in multiplayer, but I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as all players have the mod. More Lord of the Rings: TBFME II - Rise of the Witch-king Mods. If anyone has any interest in seeing a version of this mod using peasants which build the foundations (requiring a unit to walk out to the spot and place it rather than using an instant-click superpower), I have also implemented that as well and I can release that as a separate version. 15 seconds should be plenty of time to decide what building to place, and for inexperienced players, you can always look at building stats from a normal building foundation without worrying that it will disappear on you. The placed foundations also disappear in 15 seconds so there isn't any spamming from too many foundations being placed. However I decided not to remove default building foundations in order to let everyone still play in skirmish mode against the AI (which is what I do most of the time anyway!). The AI does not use new placement of buildings and I don't know how to make it do so. The only mild limitations are that you cannot build directly on top of other buildings, obstacles, or in unexplored territory. For anyone who still enjoys playing the first BFME game with simpler bases, this just might add a little more to your experience.
